Matt Reynolds — Founder
Matt Reynolds started Elevate Building and Contracting with a clear intention: to be the builder he always wanted to hire — one who shows up, tells the truth, and gives a damn about the outcome.
After years working in the industry and seeing firsthand what happens when builders over-promise, under-deliver, and disappear mid-project, Matt decided to do it differently. Smaller number of projects. More personal involvement. Higher standards.
Over the past 5+ years and across more than 50 projects on the Central Coast, Newcastle, and the Hunter Region, that approach has built something more valuable than a portfolio: a reputation. Most of Elevate's work comes through referrals from clients who were so impressed they told everyone they know.
Matt is licensed, fully insured, and personally invested in every job. He's not a project manager who drops in once a week — he's on the tools, on site, and on the phone throughout the entire build.

Matt is personally present throughout every project. Not occasionally — every single day. That means decisions get made fast, problems get resolved before they become issues, and you always know who to call.

You get a full breakdown before any work begins. No vague lump sums, no scope creep without a conversation, no bill shock at the end. If something changes, we talk about it first.
Clean, respected sites
We treat every site like it's our own home. Sites are tidied daily, access is considerate, and your home is protected throughout. You shouldn't have to live in a construction zone to have your home improved.
Real communication
Matt answers his phone. You'll always know what's happening and what's coming next — because you'll be told, not left wondering. That's a promise we make to every client from the first call.
